SUPPORT APPLICATION FOR STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF SMALL ENTREPRENEURS IN EDUCATIONAL TRANSPORT

Abstract

Transport by vans is extremely important for Brazilian society. It helps connect people to their places of study and/or work while, by reducing the demand for private vehicles, it contributes to the decongestion of roads. Due to the very nature of this type of transport, drivers and passengers face some challenges. Managing all schedules, points and routes can be a difficult task for the driver, especially when they can change without prior notice. Passengers, on the other hand, are not always able to communicate their plans to drivers clearly. The objective of this project is to develop a mobile application that can help manage daily transport times, stops and routes, as well as facilitating passenger and driver communication. To this end, a survey of the main problems faced by drivers and passengers was carried out through interviews and reflection on the author's own experiences as a passenger.
