Abstract

Performance Evaluation is a widely used method for the development of employees. It is a way of valuing human capital within your company, through a structured process guided by metrics. The general objective of this work was to identify the tools or methodologies used for performance evaluation applied by companies located in Baixa Mogiana. The research method used was inductive; Type of research used was descriptive, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, and a form with open and closed questions, disseminated through technological tools and social media, answers was used as a research instrument. The questionnaire was answered by 82 (n=82). The type of performance evaluation used by the companies 58.54% (n=48) of the people did not know how to identify the methodology or the type of performance evaluation to which they were submitted, 25.61% (n=21) of the companies performed only one feedback section, a simpler process, It can be verified that most people 43.64% (n=24) have one evaluation per year. The results of the present study achieved the proposed objectives, it is possible to verify the satisfaction, security and understanding that the performance evaluation is important for professional growth, for improvements and work opportunities, but that there are also insecurity, anxiety and fear for not corresponding to the performance desired by the company, and for the possibility of dismissal, Despite all the efforts that have been seen for the humanization of workplaces
