Abstract

For the success of a project, it is necessary that it can generate value to its client. The way this happens is through the realization of several processes. The work in question deals with the transition project from regular schools to integral education in a particular Brazilian state. For the project in question, its success is not based on generating value for the customer, but on meeting the demand of its stakeholders. After understanding how the current transition process is carried out, it was noticed that it presented several wastes, in addition to not being able to please its stakeholders. Therefore, the
objective of the work is to improve the current process in order to reduce waste and meet the needs of stakeholders. The method to achieve this objective was to carry out a research with a qualitative approach, having as a strategy the bibliographic research of a case study. In the theoretical framework, topics such as project and process management, lean mentality and stakeholder management were addressed. The result obtained for the improvement of the process in question was to change the order in which the steps of the process took place, thus reducing a series of waste. In addition, a stage was included that aims to carry out the relocation of all students who are unable to study in a full-time school. This step proved to be extremely complex to be carried out in some cases, so its deepening was suggested
as a topic for future work
